UFC Fight Night 29 adds Jason vs Stephens

Jeremy Stephens (21-9 MMA 8-8 UFC) has recently had legal troubles where the UFC stood by him. With those troubles now over he will be looking to repay the UFC for the faith they have shown in him with a tough featherweight bout. Rony Jason (13-3 MMA 3-0 UFC) will be familiar to UK fans after stopping Mike Wilkinson in his last bout within 90 seconds. That win took away Wilkinson's unbeaten record and also kept up Rony's unbeaten record in the UFC.

Stephens made a solid if not spectacular start on his drop to featherweight, defeating Payan comfortably at UFC 160. Jason won the first TUF series in Brazil and has since gone on stop Wilkinson and Sicilia.

The bout will take place in a as yet unannounced venue in Brazil on October 9th, tentatively called Fight Night 29.
