The UFC have announced the signing of Douglas Silva today, a 28-year old Brazilian prospect who joins the promotion with a 22-0 record with 18 TKO/KO victories.

Fighting at Featherweight, Silva joins the UFC as a last minute replacement for injured Thiago Tavares. He faces Zubair Tuhugov at UFN 36 in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, February 15th.
