Cage Warriors 64 Weigh in Results

Headliners James Pennington and Cory Tait are on weight and ready to clash in the main event at Cage Warriors 64.

The pair came in under the bantamweight limit at this afternoon’s weigh-ins in London, ahead of CWFC’s opening event of 2014 which takes place tomorrow night at the Kentish Town Forum.

However, several fighters failed to make the contracted weight, with Cameron Else and Huseyin Garabet surrendering 25 per cent of their purses to their respective opponents, Spencer Hewitt and Daniel Crawford.

Kirsty Davis and David Howell lose 40 per cent of their purses to Veera Nykanen and Brad Wheeler respectively, after both Davis and Howell came in more than 2.2lbs overweight.

As a result of the failure of Kirsty Davis to make weight, her bout against Veera Nykanen will now go ahead under amateur rules over three 3-minute rounds, as agreed by both camps.
